Between the Covers will give you a few insights of how the author created her/his works. Since I know many of these authors through our affiliation with High Desert branch of The California Writers Club, it makes it easy for me to find out the latest titles & trends, photography and illustration processes, highlights of a selected author, creative processes, marketing their books, and all the other aspects to becoming a busy indie author.

You’ll also hear about local Book Fairs and Festivals, specific workshops that you might need to enhance your marketing skills, and news about special guests in the High Desert who may give you better insight to improve your craft.

I have a flair for marketing and promoting works written by local authors. I've been writing the HDCWC's newsletter for nearly 10 years, and have gained the support of those creative authors who impress me with their quality. California Writers Club gives us the platform to share our passion for writing, while web portals give us access to the world. My editorial and writing skills gained the attention of the CWC' Board. I was asked to produce the statewide branch news titled CWC''s The Bulletin" since November 2017. It is now shared as a digital news magazine online to nearly 2000 members. I manage several web sites but this portal is specifically for my writing friends. When I don't write or edit, I do ranch chores at the Rusty Bucket Ranch in Lucerne Valley, California.
